Are you passionate about product development and eager to make a tangible impact in the cycling industry? Cannondale is looking for a Technical Product Manager to drive our product initiatives and ensure seamless coordination between product and operations. About the Role: As a Technical Product Manager, you will play a pivotal role in executing product development tasks and maintaining the flow of critical documentation, including specification sheets and Bills of Materials (BOM). You'll track product lifecycles, adhere to project timelines, and work closely with cross-functional teams to align our products with customer needs and business objectives.

How You'll Make an Impact:

  • Product Development Execution:
    • Manage day-to-day product lifecycle from concept to discontinuation.
    • Ensure timely, quality handovers to Operations with close PMO alignment.
  • Project Tasks:
    • Track and adjust project progress to meet BOM, parts validation, and sample production deadlines.
    • Identify risks and implement strategies to keep projects on track.
    • Facilitate effective cross-departmental communication.
  • Technical Documentation:
    • Maintain accurate specification sheets and BOMs for all in-house products, ensuring they reflect current configurations and costs.
    • Keep documentation updated and accessible for stakeholders throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Cross-functional Coordination:
    • Serve as the main contact between Product, PMO, Master Data, and Operations.
    • Assess and follow-up on specification changes with relevant teams.
  • Continuous Improvement:
    • Lead initiatives to improve efficiency, optimize costs, and standardize components.
    • Analyze KPIs to identify areas for operational improvement.
  • Customer Focus:
    • Align product development with customer needs and business goals.
  • Quality Assurance:
    • Collaborate with QA teams to ensure high-quality, reliable products and contribute to testing and validation efforts.

What You Bring to the Table:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in engineering, manufacturing, or a related role.
  • Proven experience as an engineer, project manager, or similar technical operational role.
  • Strong technical background with a deep understanding of manufacturing and assembly processes.
  • Strong knowledge of bicycle parts, components, assembly, repair and operation.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and operational excellence.
  • Customer-focused mindset with a passion for delivering high-quality products.
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
