Job Summary

We are seeking a Millwright to focus on installing, maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing injection molding machine control systems as well as other miscellaneous equipment. The Millwright reports to the Maintenance Supervisor and will work a 12-hour continental day shift schedule (7:00am -7:00pm, 7 shifts bi-weekly). HOURLY WAGE: Starting at $39.03/hour based on experience

Principle Accountabilities

  • Conduct preventative maintenance on all plant equipment as per schedule, completing all relative paperwork.
  • Maintain, troubleshoot and repair injection molding machines, compressed air system, cooling water systems and vacuum conveying systems
  • Address all mechanical issues that may arise on the production floor, as well as prepare minor electrical repairs
  • Responsible for following and carrying out HWIN Waste Manifest Procedure.
  • Work closely with all departments to deliver positive results.
  • Assembly of machinery & equipment prior to installation using hand & power tools and welding equipment.
  • Competently & safely use all tools for the efficient overhaul, maintenance or set up of company assets.
  • Follow lock-out tag-out procedures and guidelines
  • Operate equipment lifting devices, scissor lifts & genie boom if required.
  • Assist with training Apprentices
  • Perform any other duties as assigned
