Camilla Basso

Camilla Basso is a seasoned scientist currently serving as a Senior Scientist at the IRB | Institute for Research in Biomedicine since January 2024, and at Ente Ospedaliero Cantonale (EOC) since September 2019. Basso's previous experience includes a role as a Senior Postdoctoral Researcher at EOC and as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at IRB from 2009 to September 2019, where work focused on Cellular Immunology under the guidance of Prof. Dr. Federica Sallusto. Basso holds a PhD in Microbiology and Immunology from ETH Zürich (2009-2014) and has earned Master's degrees in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Roskilde University (2008-2009) and in Medical and Pharmaceutical Biotechnology from Università di Pavia (2003-2009), alongside a Bachelor's degree in Biotechnology from the same institution (2003-2006).
