Olivia Tateoka Brown

Olivia Tateoka Brown is an accomplished microbiologist with extensive experience in various roles within the field of biological sciences. Currently serving as the Director of Biological Sciences and Biocompatibility Scientist at Canyon Labs since August 2021, Olivia is instrumental in establishing microbiology laboratory operations for nutraceutical and pharmaceutical testing. Previous positions include Microbiology Laboratory Manager at Analytical Resource Laboratories, LLC, and Team Lead at BioFire Defense. Olivia's academic credentials include a Ph.D. in Microbiology and Molecular Biology, as well as a Master's and Bachelor's degree in the same discipline, all from Brigham Young University. Notable research includes a thesis on carbapenem-resistant Enterobacteriaceae.
