Sue Engels

Sue Engels, PMP has over 25 years of work experience in various leadership roles in the healthcare and technology industry. Most recently, they served as the VP of IT Delivery and Technical Business Support at Capital BlueCross, where they were responsible for aligning corporate vision and strategy with technology development and delivery. Prior to that, they were the Director of IT Delivery at the same company, overseeing the development and delivery of their information technology assets.

Before joining Capital BlueCross, Sue worked at Aldera, Inc. as the Vice President of Professional Services, where they oversaw implementation services and created consultative service offerings. Sue also served as a Senior Solutions Architect, planning and facilitating technology implementation strategies.

Sue has also worked at Infocrossing, a Wipro Company, as a Product Manager in healthcare services business development, and at HP Enterprise Services as the Manager of ITO Service Delivery. Additionally, they held the position of Vice President of Application Integration at Coventry Health Care, an Aetna Company, where they provided executive leadership and project management for IT system integration projects.

Throughout their career, Sue has demonstrated their expertise in technical program and project portfolio management, strategic planning, and team leadership. Sue has a proven track record of aligning technology initiatives with business goals and achieving specific objectives.

Sue Engels, PMP, obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Public Relations from Shippensburg University of Pennsylvania in 1987. Sue also holds the Project Management Professional certification from the Project Management Institute, obtained in 2009.
