Alvin Hood

Alvin serves as the Director of Construction, Eastern Region, for Capital Growth Buchalter. In this position, he coordinates all aspects of construction management within a wide variety of project types. Alvin brings extensive experience in planning, budgeting, procurement, and construction management in retail construction across a national geographic territory. Working primarily in build-to-suit retail programs, Alvin ensures CGB projects are completed on schedule and to each client’s unique specifications. He is equally adept at using value and constructability analysis, working within aggressive bidding environments, and providing efficient project delivery systems.

Prior to joining CGB, Alvin held various construction roles with national and regional brands such as Raising Canes, Applebee’s, Davita, Firebirds Wood Fired Grill, La Tagliatella Restaurants, Harris Teeter Supermarkets, Kroger, and BI-LO/Bruno’s Supermarkets. Alvin earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Clemson University and a Bachelor of Science degree from the College of Charleston.
