Shaughn Nalezinski

Shaughn Nalezinski, MS, MLS(ASCP)SBB, MLS(AMT), has a diverse work experience in the healthcare industry. Currently, they hold the role of Lead Medical Laboratory Scientist - Blood Bank at Concord Hospital Health System since September 2021. Prior to this, they worked as a Medical Laboratory Scientist and Legal Blood Draw Specialist at the same organization. Additionally, they served as a Clinical Laboratory Assistant at Concord Hospital Health System from December 2014 to April 2018.

In 2019, Shaughn Nalezinski joined the Community College System of New Hampshire (CCSNH) as a Tutor and also became an Advisory Board Member. They continued their involvement in the educational field alongside their healthcare career.

From 2020 onwards, Shaughn Nalezinski took on various roles outside of the hospital setting. Prior to that, in 2018, Nalezinski completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Services/Allied Health/Health Sciences, General from Southern New Hampshire University. In 2016 to 2018, Nalezinski obtained an Associate of Science degree in Clinical/Medical Laboratory Technician from River Valley Community College. Furthermore, Nalezinski is currently pursuing a Graduate Certificate in Biochemistry from the University of Mississippi Medical Center, which is anticipated to be completed in 2022. Nalezinski's educational journey will continue as they plan to pursue a Doctor of Clinical Laboratory Science (DCLS) degree from The University of Texas Medical Branch.

Additionally, Nalezinski has obtained various certifications throughout their education and career. They hold certifications as a Specialist in Blood Banking (ASCP-SBB) from the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) since February 2022, a Medical Laboratory Scientist (ASCP-MLS) since September 2021, and a Medical Laboratory Scientist from the American Medical Technologists since November 2018. Nalezinski also holds certifications as a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) from the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) since May 2018 and as a Technologist in Blood Banking (ASCP-BB) since November 2019. Furthermore, Nalezinski has been a member of the membership committee at AABB (formerly known as the American Association of Blood Banks) since January 2022.
