Nicole Vipperman

Nicole Vipperman is the Chief Compliance Officer at Capitala. Nicole has over 15 years of experience in the compliance field. Nicole started their career as a compliance analyst at Smith Breeden Associates in March 2005. Nicole then moved to Brookfield Investment Management Inc. in June 2007, where they became the Vice President / Compliance Officer. Nicole left Brookfield in September 2012 to join HSBC as their Vice President, Senior Manager, Local Compliance Officer. Nicole stayed with HSBC until October 2015, when they joined PIMCO as their Vice President, Compliance Officer - Regulatory Compliance. Nicole left PIMCO in January 2017 to join Hollencrest Capital Management as their Chief Compliance Officer. Nicole stayed with Hollencrest until October 2019, when they joined Capitala as their VP of Compliance.

Nicole Vipperman reports to Joseph B. Alala, III, President & CEO. They are on a team with Christopher B. Norton - Managing Director - Underwriting, Stephen A. Arnall - Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer, and Randall Fontes - Managing Director – Atlanta.
