Mechanical Engineer (genesee Repowering) at Capital Power

Jason Peters has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. Jason started their career as a Mechanical Engineering Student at DUMUR Industries in 2003. Jason then worked at Wheat Country Motors from 1992 to 2002, where they were involved in exportation and detailing. In 2004, Peters joined EPCOR as a Mechanical Engineer, and later served as the Manager of the Energy Management Operations Centre from 2007 to 2008. Since 2009, they have been working at Capital Power, with various roles including Mechanical Engineer (Hydro), where they provided design and project support for hydropower assets, and Mechanical Engineer (Thermal), where they contributed to thermal power projects. Most recently, Peters has been working as a Mechanical Engineer at Capital Power on the Genesee Repowering project. Jason also briefly worked as a Project Engineer on the Halkirk Wind Project, managing design and installation tasks.
