Jill Connell

Jill Connell has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and companies. Jill started their career in 2009 at Capital Power Corporation as a Real Time Trader, where they worked until 2017. Following that, they joined Dean Thomas Design Group in 2017 as a Business Development professional. In 2018, Jill transitioned to Capital Power and took on the role of Commercial Manager until 2021. Jill then became a Short-Term Trader & Portfolio Specialist, and currently holds the position of Manager, Short-Term Trading at Capital Power since October 2022.

Jill Connell completed their Bachelor of Commerce degree in Energy Management at the University of Calgary from 2005 to 2009. In 2013, they pursued further education and obtained the Energy Risk Professional (ERP) certification from the Global Association of Risk Professionals (GARP). Recently, Jill has been pursuing their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree at the University of Calgary from 2019 to 2021.
