Beaumont Vance is currently an advisor at Capri Ventures. Prior to their current position, they were with TD Ameritrade for 4 years and 8 months, where they held various positions, such as Head of AI, Advanced Analytics and Emerging Technology DevOps, Director of Digital AI and Automation, Head of the enterprise Analytics Center of Excellence, Director of Artificial Intelligence, and Director of Innovation Laboratory. In these positions, they were responsible for developing and delivering the operational framework to leverage innovative technologies to drive superior customer service and competitive advantage. This included leading the emerging technology and Advanced Analytics teams to develop and deliver new, innovative technologies into production, such as artificial intelligence, Chat and Voice assistants, and Payments. Beaumont also led the AI council to guide the strategy for the enterprise around prioritizing and developing AI initiatives across the enterprise. Through these efforts, they were able to improve customer experience through new technologies and increase operating leverage through automation and leveraging technology. Beaumont also created a new function to take AI and Machine Learning proofs of concept from the lab to the front office. In addition to their responsibilities coordinating efforts across the enterprise and developing the operational structure to implement and support new AI platforms, they also served as a Member of the AI Council for the CEO as well as developing and delivering a firm-wide strategy for analytics. During their time with the company, they were also responsible for building and maintaining an AI based analytics platform, which drove USD 20 Million in measurable value for strategic projects. Beaumont was able to create a coherent vision for resilient competitive advantage through the use of analytics and AI platforms. In their role as executive responsible for strategic analytics, data, AI, education and evolving support for the analytics community, they led a team of up to 30 data science professionals and managed and maintained an effective analytics database. Beaumont applied Advanced Analytics driven by Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning across the enterprise in areas such as propensity modeling and lift analysis, natural language processing call center analytics and management, robo advising website personalization and robo leveraging AI and Machine learning. The advanced Technology group comprised highly skilled Technology Professionals charged with developing the next generation of technology solutions to solve existing and future business challenges and drive competitive advantage through innovation. Beaumont Vance was able to create an innovative natural language processing platform, developed and delivered a highly innovative enterprise wide hackathon platform (as part of the innovation channel) and also oversaw the complex procedure for creation of key customer applications based on machine learning and AI. Beaumont also structured a series of winning ideas around idea implementation frameworks and funding models.
Beaumont Vance is a graduate of Wake Forest University, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in 1987. Beaumont also attended Stanford University for executive courses in Decision Science in 2005. Beaumont is a graduate of Fairport High School and Harley School. Beaumont also has a certification in ARM IIA.
