Yujia Li, PhD

Yujia Li, PhD has extensive work experience in the field of scientific research and development. They are currently working as a Senior Scientist at Capricor Therapeutics, Inc. since April 2022.

Prior to this, Yujia Li worked as an R&D Scientist III, Cell Biology at Thermo Fisher Scientific from December 2019 to April 2022.

Before joining Thermo Fisher Scientific, Yujia Li was a Postdoctoral Fellow at the J. Craig Venter Institute from March 2018 to November 2019.

Yujia Li also served as a Postdoctoral Associate at the University of Central Florida from November 2014 to February 2018.

Their work experience began in 2010 as a Graduate Assistant at the University of Hawaii at Manoa.

Yujia Li, PhD, earned their Bachelor of Science (BS) in Bioengineering from Northeast Forestry University in 2007. From 2007 to 2009, they pursued their Master of Science (MS) in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the same institution. Yujia continued their education at the University of Hawaii at Manoa, where they obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Microbiology in 2014.
