Bertrand Leroy

Bertrand Leroy has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Bertrand co-founded and served as the CTO of Captain Wallet, a leading Mobile Wallet Management Platform in Europe, from 2013. At Captain Wallet, they enabled brands like McDonald's, Renault, and Yves Rocher to digitize and distribute their marketing tools on mobile platforms.

Prior to this, Bertrand worked at SFR as a Technical Project Manager for Smartphone apps from 2011 to 2013. Bertrand also worked as a Software Engineer and Mobile Services Designer at SFR from 2009 to 2010.

Bertrand also has experience as a freelance iPhone/iPad application developer from 2009 to 2013. During this time, they developed the Shopwise app.

Before their freelance work, Bertrand worked as a Software Engineer at SFR Labs as an intern in 2008. Here, they worked on various projects including web development, J2ME apps, and even released an iPhone app called Rovio Driver.

Bertrand started their career as an Automation Engineer at Intel Ireland, where they worked from February 2007 to August 2007.

Bertrand Leroy's education history begins in 2003 when they enrolled at Université Savoie Mont Blanc. Bertrand pursued a DUT in Génie des Télécommunications et Réseaux and completed their studies in 2005. Following that, in 2005-2006, they moved to Utah State University and pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science. Continuing their education, in 2006-2007, they attended Technological University Dublin, where they pursued an Honours Degree in Computer and Communications Engineering. In 2007, Bertrand Leroy transferred to ESGI - Ecole Supérieure de Génie Informatique and completed a Master of Science degree in Telecommunications and Mobility in 2009.
