Mark Makoui

Vice President Risk Control / Unit Leader at Captive Resources

Mark Makoui has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Mark started their career as a District Executive at DPVC in 1999 and then worked as a Branch & Safety Manager at Manpower from 2000 to 2011. At Manpower, they were responsible for recruiting, training, and managing employees. Mark also served as an expert for clients on employee compensation and hiring trends.

In 2011, Makoui joined Sherman Hospital as a Patient Safety Specialist, where they facilitated process improvement meetings and implemented safety programs.

In 2012, they worked at Kia of North Aurora as a Business Manager/Sales Consultant, where they successfully achieved top sales consultant status by building rapport, qualifying buyers, and closing sales.

Makoui then moved on to Barton Staffing Solutions in 2013, where they served as a Safety Manager, responsible for designing and implementing process improvements and managing the unemployment process for temporary employees.

From 2014 to present, Makoui has been with Captive Resources, LLC, initially as a Vice President and now as the Vice President Risk Control/Unit Leader.

Throughout their career, Makoui has demonstrated strong leadership skills, process improvement expertise, and a commitment to employee and patient safety.

Mark Makoui earned their Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Concordia University Chicago, which they attended from 1991 to 1996. In 2012, they obtained a Certification in F&I Legal & Ethical Standards from JM&A Group.
