Job description

We're currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Controller to join our team. As the Financial Controller, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial activities of the company, ensuring key controls are adhered to, compliance with reporting standards, and providing concise and timely financial reporting & recommendations to senior management.

The successful candidate should have a passion and demonstratable experience in developing both people and processes, resulting in an efficient, engaged team of experts. The salary for this role is £60,000- £65,000 per annum. Working 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday. This role is hybrid, which will consist of a mix of both office and home working each week, which will be dependent on business requirements

Responsibilities

  • Deliver timely and accurate production of the monthly management accounts to key stakeholders.
  • Provide timely and accurate financial analysis and reporting to senior management.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable tax, accounting, and financial regulations and standards.
  • Develop and implement financial and operational strategies to support business objectives
  • Lead and develop the finance function to be a team of experts.
  • Ensure key financial controls and processes are managed in line with SLA's.
  • Management and development of the financial systems & processes.
  • Develop relevant Financial MI that supports business goals, team performance, and management of risk.
  • Support the Treasury & Taxation function with statutory reporting and annual audit management.
  • Develop and implement financial and operational strategies to support business objectives
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
