Iana Namestnikova

Iana Namestnikova has a diverse work experience in the legal field. Iana is currently working as an Associate Lawyer at Caravel Law since February 2021. Prior to this, they worked as a Legal Consultant, Advanced Analytics at Deloitte from October 2014 to January 2020. Iana also worked as an Associate at Baker McKenzie for a brief period in 2017 and as an Associate at McMillan LLP from January 2016 to May 2017. Earlier in their career, Iana gained valuable experience as an Associate (Banking) at the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development from August 2012 to August 2014. In this role, they provided legal advice on investments in various regions and collaborated with governments and stakeholders on international projects.

Iana Namestnikova obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in International Development Studies from York University between the years 2004 and 2008. Subsequently, they pursued a Master's degree (M.A.) in Public Policy and Administration at Ryerson University, completing it in 2009. In the same year, they began their studies at Queen's University and obtained a Doctor of Law (J.D.) degree in 2012. Two years later, in July 2014, Iana obtained a certification as a Barrister and Solicitor from The Law Society.
