Lokke Moerel

Lokke Moerel is a Senior Of Counsel at Morrison & Foerster LLP, specializing in global privacy and security since February 2015. In addition to this role, Moerel serves as a Member of the Board of Advisors for Security Delta, a Professor of Global ICT Law at Tilburg University, and the Chair of the Board at the Atlantische Commissie. Moerel is a Member of the Dutch Cyber Security Council, an Advisory Board Member for ACCSS_NL, and a Cyber Expert for the European Commission’s Horizon2020 Innovation Program. Previous positions include Non-executive Director at Topicus.com and Member of the Supervisory Board at SIDN. Moerel's educational background includes a Master of Laws from the University of Cambridge, a Master’s Degree in Civil Law from Leiden University, and a Ph.D. from Tilburg University focused on Binding Corporate Rules. Additionally, Moerel holds an INSEAD Certificate in Corporate Governance.
