Are you ready to be the voice of Fort McMurray? Play 103.7, the city's most engaging radio station, is searching for our next Morning Show Host. This is your chance to join a station deeply embedded in the community, actively participating in all major events. Craft captivating, locally relevant, and entertaining content for your audience while building your personal brand in one of Canada's most vibrant and diverse markets.

This role is more than just a radio announcer position. It's about excellence every day, both in the studio and out in the community. You'll be a brand ambassador at local events and a dynamic presence on-air.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Co-host, operate, and produce live morning shifts Monday to Friday on Play103.
  • Create digital content and manage social media platforms during on-air shifts.
  • Voice track or cover other shifts as needed.
  • Perform commercial narration for production purposes as required.
  • Host remote broadcasts and emcee local events.
  • Assist the Local Experiences Coordinator in developing and preparing programming and sales experiences.
  • Fulfill other duties as assigned.

Essential Knowledge and Skills:

  • Proven experience in on-air roles with a strong ability to entertain and engage listeners.
  • Exceptional skills in crafting and managing content for social media platforms.
  • Proven ability to work both independently and as well as part of a team.
  • Superior organizational and interpersonal skills with effective communication abilities.
  • Outstanding organizational and interpersonal skills with a knack for clear and effective communication.
  • Familiarity with WideOrbit and Adobe Audio is an asset.

Essential Requirements:

  • 1 year of on-air experience.
  • News writing and reading an asset.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively during the show and when attending events.
  • Have the ability to interact with clients in the community.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Play nice in the sandbox.

Standard Work Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday 8:30am – 5:00pm
