Andrew Strider has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Andrew began their career as an intern at the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta in 1998 and 1999, gaining experience in supervision, regulation, credit, and risk management. In 2000, they worked as an intern at the Transatlantic Policy Network.

Strider then transitioned to the private sector, joining Mundet International in 2001 as an Associate Manager of Marketing and Business Development. During their time there, they successfully increased the company's export business and implemented a Quality Management System for their Malaysian operation.

In 2006, Strider took on an internship role at DaimlerChrysler Corporation, where they contributed to developing standardized vehicle content and pricing charts. Andrew also audited values in the JATO database to ensure accuracy in competitive analysis.

Strider went on to work at various roles in Ford Motor Company from 2007 to 2011, including Central Buyer for Global Chassis Purchasing and Core Buyer for Global Interiors Purchasing. In these positions, they were responsible for supplier rationalization, pricing negotiations, and cost reductions for various commodities.

From 2011 to 2017, Strider joined Tesla Motors, where they held roles such as Senior Purchasing Specialist and Purchasing Manager. Andrew managed a team responsible for exterior, closures, and seating at Tesla, and played a crucial role in the supply chain management and cost reduction for the Tesla Model S.

In 2017, Strider joined Velodyne LiDAR, Inc. as a Senior Commodity Manager, focusing on strategic sourcing.

Most recently, in 2018, Strider joined Carbon as the Director of Strategic Sourcing, overseeing the company's sourcing strategy.
