Elia Stupka

Elia Stupka has worked in various roles in the healthcare industry since 2016. In 2021, they began working as the Managing Director at Angelini Ventures. In 2020, they became an Innovation Councilor at Cardea Bio Inc. and a Strategic Advisor at leapcure. Elia also worked as a Venture Partner at First Star Ventures and a Strategic Advisor at Duality Technologies, Entropica Labs, Pulse Infoframe Inc., and Reboot Rx in 2019. From 2018 to 2020, they were a Strategic Advisor at Health Catalyst, SVP and General Manager of the Life Sciences Business, and Chief Analytics Officer of the Life Sciences Business, providing technology leadership in the area of analytics and building out a new function located in Cambridge, MA. In 2016, they became a Scientific Advisory Board Member at Alkahest, Inc.

Elia Stupka began their education in 1990 at Liceo Scientifico \"Galileo Galilei\" where they earned their Maturita. Elia then attended United World College from 1993 to 1995 and obtained an International Baccalaureate in Biology, Mathematics, and Philosophy Higher Level. From 1995 to 1998, they attended the University of York and obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Biology, General. In 1998, they returned to the University of York to obtain a M.Res. in Biomolecular Science. In 2008, they attended the MIT Sloan School of Management and obtained a Leading Innovative Enterprises Program in Innovation. Lastly, they attended Leiden University and obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Computer Science.
