Nikhil Iyengar has an extensive work experience in the field of analytics and digital intelligence. Nikhil started their career at Google in 2006 as an AdWords Relationship Manager, where they led a team in developing long-term strategies for high-spending advertisers. Nikhil later became an Analytics Guru Lead, transforming a reactive technical support team into a consulting group generating significant revenue for Google.
In 2010, Nikhil moved to Merkle | Cardinal Path as a Senior Consultant, working with various organizations to create web analytics strategies and lead implementation projects. Nikhil later progressed to become an Associate Director and then a Director in the Analytics division.
Since 2018, Nikhil has held the role of Senior Director at Merkle | Cardinal Path, serving as an engagement manager for key client projects. Nikhil has been instrumental in shifting clients' attribution and customer segmentation capabilities to data-driven algorithms. Additionally, they have been responsible for managing and mentoring staff, conducting original research, and speaking at conferences.
Currently, Nikhil is the Vice President & General Manager of Analytics at Merkle | Cardinal Path, where they oversee the largest practice area within the firm. Nikhil focuses on commercialization and go-to-market strategy for GA4 and related services, while also providing thought leadership on evolving measurement practices in response to changing consumer expectations and privacy challenges.

Nikhil Iyengar obtained a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree from the University of Michigan - Stephen M. Ross School of Business, which they attended from 2012 to 2014. In addition to their formal education, Nikhil has also acquired various certifications such as "Server-side Tagging In Google Tag Manager" from Simmer in September 2023, "Data Analysis with R" from Udacity in May 2016, "Google Advanced Search" from Google in January 2016, "Optimizely Platform Certification" from Optimizely in April 2015, "Google Advertising Fundamentals" from Google in December 2014, and "Google Analytics Individual Qualification" from Google in December 2014.
