Mike Vasil

Mike Vasil has a diverse work experience in the healthcare industry. Mike started their career as an Accountant at the Department of Veterans Affairs in 2000 and gradually took on more responsibilities. Mike served as a Compliance Auditor, overseeing financial records of VA hospitals, and later became the CFO of Altoona VAMC, managing a budget of $110 million. In 2011, they joined Heritage Hospice as the CFO and Co-owner, handling various financial activities and expanding hospice services. In 2017, they transitioned to the role of Regional Vice President, responsible for developing and expanding hospice services within Pennsylvania. Most recently, in 2018, they joined Care Hospice, Inc. as the Vice President of Business Analytics.

Mike Vasil holds a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from Indiana University of Pennsylvania, which they obtained between 1994 and 1998. Following their undergraduate studies, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Accounting and Business/Management at the University of Saint Francis from 2001 to 2006. Mike Vasil has not obtained any additional certifications related to their education.
