Shelly-Ann M. Love, PhD, MS, currently serves as a Senior Researcher of Safety and Epidemiology at Carelon, starting in June 2024, where responsibilities include being the principal investigator for multiple post-authorization safety studies (PASS). Prior experience includes roles as an Epidemiologist with the FDA from May 2023 to January 2024 and with DLH Corporation, as well as overlapping positions at Social Scientific Systems. From May 2010 to March 2022, Shelly-Ann held various positions at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, including Postdoctoral Fellow in CVD Genetic Epidemiology and Principal Investigator on a grant investigating ethanol intake and cognitive decline. Earlier roles also span positions in research and statistics at The Institute for Health, Social, and Community Research, North Carolina State University, and Stony Brook University. Education includes a PhD in Epidemiology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, a Master's degree in Statistics from North Carolina State University, and a Bachelor's degree in Applied Mathematics and Statistics from Stony Brook University.
