Ifeoma Muoto

Ifeoma Muoto has a diverse work experience spanning different industries and roles. Ifeoma is currently serving as the Director of Community Health Partnerships at CareOregon since October 2021. Prior to that, they held the position of Affiliate Professor at the OHSU-PSU School of Public Health starting from June 2019. Ifeoma also worked at Kaiser Permanente, first as an Administrative Fellow from August 2016 to December 2018, and later as the Clinical Department Manager for OB/GYN Sub-specialties from January 2019 to September 2021.

Before joining Kaiser Permanente, Ifeoma Muoto worked as a Health Services Researcher at OHSU | Oregon Health & Science University from October 2014 to June 2016. Ifeoma also gained experience as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Oregon State University from September 2012 to June 2016. Additionally, they served as a Benefits Policy Consultant Graduate Intern at Kaiser Permanente for a brief period in 2014.

Ifeoma Muoto's earlier experiences include working as a Graduate Teaching/Research Assistant at the University of Connecticut from August 2008 to May 2012. Ifeoma started their professional career as an Executive Trainee at FirstBank Nigeria from October 2006 to July 2008, followed by a similar role at ASO Savings & Loans PLC from April 2006 to October 2006. Ifeoma also worked as a Physical Therapist at Katsina General Hospital from February 2005 to January 2006.

Ifeoma Muoto's education history begins in 1997 when they enrolled at the University of Nigeria, Nsukka. Ifeoma pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy and completed their studies in 2003.

In 2008, Ifeoma Muoto continued their academic journey at the University of Connecticut, where they obtained a Master's Degree in Health Promotion. Ifeoma completed their studies two years later, in 2010.

Muoto's pursuit of higher education did not end there. Ifeoma went on to attend Oregon State University from 2012 to 2016. Here, they earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Public Health.
