Daniel Alejandro Tovar Rodríguez

Daniel Alejandro Tovar Rodríguez has held various roles in the IT industry since 2016. In 2020, they began working as a Lead Site Reliability Engineer and DevOps Engineer at Cargamos, where they are responsible for administering the platform and resources on Google Cloud Platform, automating development processes, and creating and maintaining pipelines for projects in Python, Go, Java, Angular, and Gradle.

From 2016 to 2019, they worked at CGTS Corp Inc as an Infrastructure Coordinator and Infrastructure Engineer. As an Infrastructure Coordinator, they were responsible for automating development processes with Jenkins, SonarQube, Bash, Docker, and Git, planning, directing, and supervising the functioning of the company's internal and external services, and ensuring business continuity and security aspects. As an Infrastructure Engineer, they provided support and deployment of biometric identification systems, communication solutions with Issabel and Asterisk, and development projects in Python (django), Java (mvn), and NodeJS. Daniel Alejandro also monitored and maintained the Data Center with TIG, Zabbix, and ELK, and maintained internal network elements such as Cisco Routers and Switches, Fortinet Firewalls, DNS, DHCP, and VPN.

From 2017 to 2019, they worked as a Consultor de infraestructuras de TI at Smartmatic. During the Venezuelan Constituent Assembly elections of 2017, they installed and administered Firewall Fortinet, established security policies for network and physical access to data centers, and configured Top of Rack and Core Data Center switches. During the Argentine Presidential elections of 2019, they administered Firewall Fortinet, established security policies for network and physical access to the data centers, configured Top of Rack and Core Data Center switches, supported tests of the Electoral Machinery Production System, and performed hardening of CentOS 7 servers.

Daniel Alejandro Tovar Rodríguez completed their Licenciatura in Ciencias de la computación from Universidad Central de Venezuela between 2010 and 2017.
