Marty Lindsay

Marty Lindsay has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. Marty started their career in 1996 with World Vision New Zealand as IT Support. Marty then worked at Datacom Systems Ltd as a Systems Engineer, Team Leader, and Project Manager. Marty joined Fujitsu NZ Ltd as a Technical Consultant where they held various roles, including Team Leader, Systems Engineer, and Technical Lead. Marty also worked at Hewlett Packard Enterprise as a Technology Consultant, primarily focused on SCOM design and implementation. Marty later joined Telecom New Zealand Limited as a Senior Systems Engineer, specializing in Splunk and Enterprise Monitoring and Automation. Marty then transitioned to Xero, where they held the roles of Performance Tools Engineer, Senior Tools Engineer & Team Leader, Product Owner & Lead Monitoring and Tools Architect, Platform and Reliability Architect, Platform Architect, and Architect. Marty's responsibilities at Xero included system analysis, domain modeling, stakeholder collaboration, architecture support, vendor management, and automation implementation. Currently, Marty works at Kiwibank as a Lead Site Reliability Engineer on a contract basis.

Marty Lindsay began their education in 1989 at The University of Auckland, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and Physics. Marty completed their studies in 1991.

In addition to their academic achievements, Marty Lindsay has obtained several certifications. Marty became an AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate in September 2017 through Amazon Web Services. Marty also holds the Million Labs Certified Bubble Associate (MCBA) certification, which they obtained in April 2022.
