Ahmet Demircan is a seasoned professional in the food science and technology field, currently serving as the Starches, Sweeteners & Texturizers R&D Lead at Cargill since May 2020, with prior roles including Product Development Manager and Technical Product Manager for Sweeteners META. Previous experience includes positions at pladis Global as an R&D Technical Operations Specialist and various engineering roles, as well as military service as a Gıda Kontrol Subayı. Ahmet's academic background includes a PhD in Food Science and Technology from Namık Kemal University and a Master’s degree in the same field, complemented by a Bachelor's degree in Food Engineering from Gaziantep University.
