Anne Berends has extensive experience in sensory and consumer science, particularly within the chocolate and cocoa sectors. Currently serving as Director of R&D S&CS for Cargill EMEA and Global Pillar Lead S&CS Chocolade and Cocoa, Anne also holds the position of Global Director for Sensory & Consumer Science Chocolate & Cocoa. Previous roles include Manager of Business Support and Program Manager for Sensory Quality at FrieslandCampina, as well as Sensory Network Lead and Sensory & Consumer Specialist at Nestlé. In addition, Anne has a background in academia as a Sensory & Consumer Scientist at the University of Applied Science Münster.
