Michael Brock

Michael Brock has extensive work experience in the transportation and logistics industry. Michael currently holds the position of Vice President Operations at Cargomatic since November 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Walmart for many years, holding various roles such as Senior Director II International Transportation, Senior Director I Inbound Transportation, Director of Merchandising Operations, Sr. Manager/Director of Inbound Transportation, Sr Manager Merchandising Operations, Inbound Transportation Operations Manager, Logistics Planning Manager, and DC Area Manager. In these positions, they have led teams and been responsible for various aspects of transportation and operations, including temperature-controlled truckload movement, rail container movement, ocean container movement, supplier solutions replenishment, and network optimization. Michael has also been involved in contract negotiations, P&L management, and minimizing freight claims.

Michael Brock obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Marketing and Management from Washburn University, where they attended from 1992 to 1996.
