Brett Menchel

Brett Menchel has had a varied work experience. In 2020, they began working as a Senior Associate Scientist at Carisma Therapeutics. Prior to that, they worked at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania from 2015 to 2020 as a Science Research Specialist, where they were proficient in processing biosafety level 2 samples and had mastered micro-pipetting and centrifugation techniques. From 2014 to 2015, they worked as a Laboratory Technician at EMSL Analytical, Inc., where they were knowledgeable in centrifuges, phase contrast microscopy techniques, handling asbestos specimens, and chemical safety procedures. From 2010 to 2014, they worked as a Student Intern at the Rowan University Registrar's Office, where they updated transfer student transcripts and processed transfer applications, compiled and filed records of office activities, and utilized Microsoft Office and Oracle database software.

Brett Menchel attended Rowan University from 2010 to 2014, where they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Biological Sciences. Brett then attended the University of Pennsylvania from 2017 to 2019, where they earned a Masters of Biotechnology in the field of Biotechnology.
