Vasiliki Pappa

Vasiliki Pappa has worked in a variety of roles since 2004. Vasiliki began their career as a Syndromic Surveillance Supervisor at Hellenic Center for Infectious Disease Control in 2004. In 2006, they became a Registered Nurse at Attikon University Hospital. Vasiliki then moved to Yale University in 2008, where they worked as a Laboratory Technician. In 2010, they began their PhD studies at Albert Einstein College of Medicine. After completing their studies in 2016, they became a Postdoctoral Fellow at The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. Most recently, in 2022, they began working as a Scientist at Carisma Therapeutics.

Vasiliki Pappa obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse from Ethnikon kai Kapodistriakon Panepistimion Athinon between 1999 and 2003. Vasiliki then went on to obtain a Master of Science (M.S.) in Clinical Nursing in Prevention of Infectious Diseases and Infection Control from the same institution between 2005 and 2007. In 2008, they obtained a Master of Public Health (M.P.H.) in Epidemiology of Microbial Diseases from the Yale School of Public Health. Finally, they obtained a PhD in Biomedical Sciences, with a focus on Microbiology and Immunology, from Albert Einstein College of Medicine between 2010 and 2016.
