Sajid Shaikh

Sajid Shaikh has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over twenty years. Sajid'smost recent role was as the VP Solutions at Carium, which they started in 2019 and is currently employed in. Prior to that, they worked at Ciena as the Senior Director, Engineering from August 2015 to January 2019. Before Ciena, they were the Director, Engineering at Cyan, Inc. from March 2011 to August 2015. Sajid also held the position of Principal Software Engineer at Xtera Communications from June 2008 to May 2011. Sajid began their career at IBM Research, where they worked as a Research Scientist from January 1998 to August 2000. Sajid has also gained experience as a Senior Member Of Technical Staff at both Meriton Networks (formerly Mahi Networks) from January 2001 to August 2006 and Mahi Networks from January 2001 to September 2005. Additionally, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Synacom from August 2000 to November 2000.
