Nicole Theus

Nicole Theus has over 17 years of work experience in various HR roles. Nicole is currently the Founder of Nicole Theus Consulting, a position they have held since January 2021. Prior to this, they served as the Director of HR & Talent at Carlos Rosario International Public Charter School. From 2019 to 2023, they worked as the Director of People Operations at Resources for Community Development, where they established and built the people operations function and led key initiatives including DEI and strategic planning. Before that, they were a Sr. Human Resources Business Partner at Rocketship Education, where they managed HR functions for employees across multiple states. Nicole began their career as a Payroll Assistant at ASUCD Unitrans and has also held roles at SolarCity, Peninsula Humane Society & SPCA, and CAMICO Mutual Insurance Company. Throughout their career, they have developed strong skills in employee relations, onboarding, compliance, and HR project management.

Nicole Theus attended the University of California, Davis from 2004 to 2009, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree. Their major field of study included Sociology, African American and African Studies.
