Tommy Gamelin

Tommy Gamelin has extensive experience in education and coaching, currently serving as an Architecture and Engineering Instructor at Carlsbad Unified School District since August 2007, where motivation and practical planning are emphasized to inspire students. Previous roles include architectural design instruction and project leadership, as well as coaching football at various levels, including defensive backs, punters, and kickers at Carlsbad High School. Additionally, Tommy has held positions such as Athletic Director and Career Technical Education Department Chair at Sage Creek High School. Prior to a career in education, experience included roles at H. Hendy Associates and Ernie Kim Architects. Academic qualifications include a BS in Sport Ethics from the University of Idaho and an AA in liberal arts from Palomar College, among other educational pursuits.
