Abhijit Sengupta

Abhijit Sengupta has been Director of Artistic Planning at Carnegie Hall since January 2020. Abhijit was previously Director of Artistic Planning at the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra from January 2018 to January 2020, Artistic Director/CEO of Fontana Chamber Arts from September 2008 to November 2012, and General Manager of Da Camera of Houston from July 2014 to January 2018.

Abhijit Sengupta attended Yale University for their Bachelor of Arts in Economics and the University of Southern California for their MM in Viola Performance. Abhijit is currently a Fellow at the New World Symphony for Orchestral Performance.

They work with Nolan Robertson - Director, Artistic Projects, Adriaan Fuchs - Director, Festivals & Special Projects, and Alicia Jones - Director, Program Administration. and Victoria Frommer - Manager, Artistic Programs reports to Abhijit Sengupta. Abhijit Sengupta reports to Anna Weber, General Manager, Artistic Planning & Operations.
