Scott Dodelson

Scott Dodelson is currently the Director at the NSF AI Planning Institute for Data-Driven Physics since September 2020. Prior to this role, Scott served as the Head of the Department of Physics at Carnegie Mellon University from August 2017. Scott also held the position of Co-Chair Science Committee at the Dark Energy Survey from September 2016 to May 2021. With a background in theoretical physics, Scott Dodelson has been actively involved in academia, previously holding positions at University of Chicago and Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory. Scott is also an accomplished author and editor in the field of gravitational lensing and modern cosmology.
