Jaydip Das

Jaydip Das is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in applications engineering and product development across various sectors. Since 2017, Jaydip has served as the Senior Manager of Applications Engineering at Carpenter Technology Corporation, focusing on driving electrification revenue growth through innovative technology platforms. Previously, Jaydip held the position of Advanced Product Development Lead Engineer at Fitbit, where important advancements in sensing technology for health monitoring were developed. Prior roles include Staff Scientist and Senior Development Engineer at TE Connectivity, overseeing new product concepts and leading teams in adhesive sealant development for automotive applications. Earlier academic positions include Research Scientist at Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University and Post Doctorate Fellow at Colorado State University, contributing significantly to the field of magneto-electric sensors and functional thin films.
