Umed Sharifzoda

Umed Sharifzoda is an experienced quality assurance leader currently serving as the Head of QA at Carta since July 2021, overseeing a department of 18+ professionals and managing release and CI/CD pipelines while supporting over 50 Scrum teams. Umed has previously held roles including Vice President of Quality Assurance at Tradeweb, where responsibilities included working on leading fixed income trading applications, and Lead QA Engineer at Nemaris, focusing on AI-integrated imaging solutions for spinal healthcare. Earlier career positions include QA Lead at JPMorgan Chase & Co., QA Tester at Habib Bank Limited, and QA Tester at New York Community Bancorp. Umed holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Western Governors University and additional certifications in JavaScript development.
