Aaron Fraint, AICP has over 10 years of professional experience in the field of planning and transportation. Aaron began their career in 2011 as a GIS Analyst at Azavea. In 2012, they worked as a GIS Intern at the NYC Department of City Planning and as a Civic Technology Consultant (freelance). Aaron then moved to the New York City Department of Transportation where they held the roles of Junior Project Manager and Project Manager from 2013 to 2015. In 2016, they were an Adjunct Lecturer at Hunter College. From 2015 to 2018, they worked at AECOM as a Transportation Planner III. During this time, they also worked at Alta Planning + Design as a Planning Associate & Data Scientist, where they led Alta's Data Science work on a variety of active transportation plans across California and built new tools and analysis methodologies for bicycle and pedestrian projects. From 2020 to 2022, they worked at the Delaware Valley Regional Planning Commission as an Associate Manager, Office of Mobility Analysis & Design and a Senior Transportation Planner. Aaron currently works as a Senior Solutions Engineer at CARTO.

Aaron Fraint, AICP obtained their Master of Urban Planning from Hunter College between 2012 and 2014, with a focus on Transportation & GIS. Prior to this, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts from Temple University in Geography & Urban Studies and Environmental Studies between 2008 and 2010. Aaron also attended The University of the Arts between 2006 and 2008. In November 2016, they obtained certification from the American Planning Association as an American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP).
