Pablo Pardo

Pablo Pardo has a decade of experience in the geospatial industry. In 2010, they began their career as a Cartography Technician Internship at the Instituto Cartográfico Valenciano (ICV). From 2008 to 2009, they worked as a GIS Technician at Santa Pola City Council and Aguas Municipalizadas de Alicante E.M. Pablo then joined Adasa Sistemas as a GIS Consultant in 2009, developing works of geographic information improvement for the project SIGCHS (Confederación Hidrográfica del Segura). In 2013, they were a Geocoding Auditor at IHS. From 2015 to 2016, they worked at SATEC as a GIS Developer and at Gfi Informatique as a Developer. Finally, in 2016, they joined ShuttleDirect as a Geospatial Developer, working with databases Postgres/PostGIS and developing in Python (Flask, PySpark, Pandas, etc.). In 2021, they began working as a Spatial Data Engineer at CARTO.

Pablo Pardo's education history includes a Geography degree from Universitat d'Alacant, which they obtained between 2001 and 2006. In 2009 and 2010, they completed a M.Sc in GIS from UNIGIS. In 2011, they obtained a M.Sc in Natural risks assesment from Universitat d'Alacant. From 2012 to 2013, they completed a Python Master GIS from Geospatial Training Services. Finally, from 2013 to 2015, they obtained a Técnico Superior en Desarrollo de Aplicaciones Multiplataforma from IES San Vicente.
