Kerstin Saxena has a diverse work experience. Kerstin started their career in 2000 as a Postdoc at Praxair and then joined CAS in 2001 as a Scientific Information Analyst. Kerstin worked at CAS for a significant period of time, until 2015. After a break, Kerstin then became self-employed in 2017, working as a Freelance translator English <> German. In 2021, they returned to CAS as a Scientific Information Analyst.

Kerstin Saxena has a strong educational background in Chemistry. Kerstin completed their Master's Degree in Chemistry at Friedrich Schiller University Jena from 1988 to 1992. Kerstin further pursued their studies in the same field at the University of Kent, where they obtained a Master's Degree in 1993. In 1998, Kerstin Saxena completed their highest level of education, earning a Ph.D. (Dr. rer. nat.) in Chemistry from Friedrich Schiller University Jena.
