James Lamb has a diverse work experience in the hospitality industry. James started their career as a bartender at The Merion, where they gained experience in bar-backing and serving at special events. James then worked as a server and bartender at Isabellas Restaurant, a busy brunch destination, and Pinch Food Design, a catering company that required adaptability and teamwork. James also worked as a server at The Mermaid Inn, a seafood restaurant known for its teamwork and high volume flow. James further enhanced their bartending skills at Atlantic Grill, where they learned about teamwork, communication, and creativity in a fast-paced environment. Additionally, James pursued freelance work as a full stack developer, offering their services to small businesses and friends in need of website building assistance. Most recently, they have been employed at Casa Nela, first as a bartender and then as an operations manager and beverage manager. Through their work experience, James has developed strong communication, teamwork, and customer service skills.

James Lamb has a diverse education history. In 2013, they attended Rowan College at Burlington County, where they studied Theatre/Theater until 2015. After that, from 2015 to 2016, they pursued further education in the same field at the American Musical and Dramatic Academy. In 2020, James enrolled in the University of Pennsylvania's Penn LPS Coding Bootcamp Certificate program, emphasizing their interest in coding and technology. Continuing to expand their knowledge in computer science, they completed CS50's Introduction to Computer Science at Harvard University in 2023. Additionally, in 2022, James obtained the WSET Level 1 Award in Wines from the Wine & Spirit Education Trust.
