Marc Fitzsimmons

Marc Fitzsimmons has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Marc started their career in 1990 as a Captain in the US Army Corps of Engineers, where they led and trained soldiers in combat environments. In 1997, they joined Cintas and worked their way up to become a General Manager, focusing on talent development, market growth, and customer loyalty. In 2005, they joined Republic Services and held various roles, including Area Director of Operations and Business Unit General Manager, where they managed a large and complex business unit and focused on market growth, talent development, and margin expansion. In 2020, they joined Republic Services as a Business Unit General Manager before transitioning to the role of Regional Vice President of Operations at Casella Waste Systems, Inc. In 2021, they became Vice President of Business Development at Casella Waste Systems, Inc. Overall, Marc Fitzsimmons has extensive experience in leadership, strategic planning, talent development, and customer satisfaction in both military and corporate environments.
