Michael Slater

Michael Slater has a diverse work experience in the winemaking industry. Michael began their career at Miranda Wines in 2004 as a Winemaker and Winery Manager before moving on to Robert Stein Winery in 2007, where they worked as a Winemaker. After their time at Robert Stein Winery, Slater joined Thistle Hill Winery in 2009 as a Winemaker/Director. Michael then joined Casella Family Brands in 2012 and held various roles, including Winemaker and Senior Winemaker. Currently, Slater is working as the Cellar Operations Manager at Casella Family Brands.

Michael Slater completed their Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) in Wine Science at Charles Sturt University from 1998 to 2000. Michael further pursued their education at the same university, earning a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A) from 2012 to 2015.
