Julia Woog

Julia Woog has a diverse work experience spanning over 15 years. Julia began their career as an Associate at Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton LLP in 2004 and worked there until 2009. Following that, they joined Yarmuth Wilsdon PLLC as an Attorney from 2009 to 2014, and later became a Partner at the same firm from 2015 to 2015. In 2015, they moved on to Marchex, Inc. where they served as the VP of Privacy & Risk Management and Associate General Counsel until 2017. Currently, Julia is working at Casey Family Programs as the Managing Director, Sr. Program Counsel, and Privacy Officer.

Julia Woog attended Vacaville High School for an unspecified duration but did not obtain a degree. Julia then enrolled at the University of California, Berkeley from 1996 to 2000, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology. After completing their undergraduate studies, Julia went on to attend Stanford Law School from 2002 to 2004, earning a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree. Additionally, in 2016, they obtained two certifications: Certified Information Privacy Manager (CIPM) and The Certified Information Privacy Professional - United States (CIPP/US), both from the IAPP - International Association of Privacy Professionals.
