Dilip Akalankam

Dilip Akalankam has a strong background in business development, treasury and trade solutions, and global transaction banking. Dilip started their career at Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited as an Executive in Marketing Operations, where they successfully managed the NH-9 cluster and played a key role in launching new consumer products. Dilip then worked at Datamonitor as an Analyst in Consumer Consulting. Dilip joined HSBC in 2009 as a Summer Associate in the Corporate Banking division, where they devised an engagement strategy for Middle Market Enterprises. Dilip continued their journey at HSBC, taking on roles in product management, business development, and funding desk, and achieving significant accomplishments such as winning the highest number of client mandates in trade finance and securing the highest RFP in the street in 2019. Dilip then joined Deutsche Bank as an AVP in Global Transaction Banking and later moved to Citi as a Vice President in Treasury & Trade Solutions. At Citi, they managed large Indian corporates and conglomerates and successfully handled commodity trade finance for major players in the oil and metals industry. Currently, Dilip is the Senior Director of Business Development at CashFlo, where they focus on SAAS sales, GTM strategy, and corporate acquisition.

Dilip Akalankam started their education in 2002 at the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering. Dilip completed their undergraduate studies in 2006. After a brief gap, from 2008 to 2010, Dilip enrolled at the Indian Institute of Management, Kozhikode, to earn a Master's degree in Business Administration with a focus on Finance and Marketing.
