William Edwards

Associate at Cassiday Schade

William (Will) D. Edwards is an associate attorney in the firm's Chicago office. Will's experience spans all stages of litigation including pleadings, discovery, motion practice, and trial preparation. Prior to joining Cassiday, Will worked as a law clerk at a Chicago plaintiff's firm where he gained valuable litigation skills in the areas of medical malpractice and healthcare litigation. Will's areas of interest include admiralty and maritime law, professional liability, and commercial litigation.

Will earned his J.D. from Loyola University Chicago School of Law where he was a member of Loyola's ABA Moot Court Team and a senior editor of Loyola's Consumer Law Review. He was awarded top honors as an individual oralist at the National ABA Moot Court Competition and qualified as a Quarterfinalist with his team. Will also received the CALI Award for achieving the highest grade in Legal Writing III.

During law school, Will obtained Illinois Supreme Court Rule 711 License and put his legal writing skills to work representing children in guardian ad litem cases through Loyola's Community Law Clinic.

Will earned a Certificate in Advocacy from Loyola Law School and is a member of the Illinois bar.
