Manjil Puri

Manjil Puri is an experienced engineering supervisor in the utility electrical sector with a strong focus on solar energy, currently employed at Castillo Engineering since March 2021. Puri has led and mentored a team of engineers on several large-scale solar PV projects while also designing and implementing quality control standards for more than 50 projects. Previous roles at Castillo Engineering included solar engineering positions where Puri contributed to grid-tied and off-grid systems, as well as structural and electrical design for residential solar projects. Earlier experience includes designing residential photovoltaic systems at Empire Solar Group and conducting research on solar systems at Eastern Illinois University. Manjil Puri holds a Master's degree in Sustainable Energy and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, along with a certification from the NABCEP Associate Program in Solar Energy.
