Ilana Krebs

Ilana Krebs is currently serving as an Emergency Room Technician at MT Auburn Hospital since May 2024 and as a Scientific Researcher at the Molecular Microbial Ecology Lab, focusing on antimicrobial resistance in Alpha-proteobacteria. Additional responsibilities include work as an Undergraduate Admissions Representative and Tour Guide at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, where Ilana excels in public speaking and teamwork. As an Emergency Medical Technician for Cataldo Ambulance Service Inc., Ilana provides critical patient care through assessments and quick decision-making. Previous experience includes roles as a Lifeguard and Swim Instructor at the YMCA of Greater Boston and a Swim Instructor at Boys & Girls Clubs of America. Ilana also completed a clinical research internship at Massachusetts General Hospital, contributing to the study of brain tumors. Ilana is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology and a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Health Sciences and Portuguese at the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
