Vice President, Business Development - Cell And Gene Therapy at Catalent

Jason Spacek has a wealth of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, spanning a range of senior leadership roles. Jason began their career at Lonza in 2004, where they worked as a Bioprocess Development Specialist before progressing to Business Development Specialist and Manager of Sales and Business Development. During this time, they established key business relationships and led successful negotiations for manufacturing supply agreements and strategic collaborations. In 2010, Jason joined Novasep as a Biopharma Business Manager, driving revenue growth and penetrating key accounts in North America. Jason later returned to Lonza in 2011 as an Associate Director of Commercial Development, responsible for the commercial development of the Microbial Technologies Service Unit. In 2016, they became the Director and Head of Program Management for the Cell Therapy division at Lonza, guiding operations and driving efficient project execution. Jason then joined Alcami Corporation in 2017, first as Senior Director of Commercial Operations for the Laboratory Services Business Unit and later as Vice President of Commercial Operations. At Alcami, they provided commercial leadership and strategic direction, managing P&L accountability and driving continuous growth. In 2019, Jason transitioned to Catalent Pharma Solutions, where they held various Vice President positions, including Vice President of Commercial Operations for Biologics in North America and Vice President of Drug Product in North America. Their responsibilities at Catalent included managing site-based commercial operations directors/managers, overseeing customer relationships and commercial contracts, and providing business oversight and leadership. Throughout their career, Jason has consistently demonstrated their ability to drive growth, build successful teams, and lead strategic initiatives in the pharmaceutical industry.

Jason Spacek earned their Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology from the University of Maryland between 1995 and 2000. Jason then pursued their Master of Science degree in Cell and Molecular Biology at Towson University from 2004 to 2006.
